When will Fender release the new Professional III Series?

Hello my dear friends, does anyone know if a new fender series of guitars and basses is coming soon?

I didn't do much research, but it seems that Fender renews their series every 4-5 years. And the Pro II has been around since 2020 - I think?!

No, no! I'm not eyeing on a new bass from Fender! I'm asking for a friend :)

Cheers from Munich

Like what are you looking for? Pro I was great - the only complaint I could muster was the neck was too white. Pro II is great - no real complaints. Pro III has to have a roasted neck then..... Maybe some glowing side dots. What else?

I hope for the clearance of Am Pros II to grab one black P with maple neck. I'm not willing to purchase one for north of 2k EURO, since used ones are around 1.5k. Taking a 500-600 EUR hit when resale is too much.

That being said, no black ones on the used market right now.

Speaking of Am Pro III - yes glowing side dots would be great, roasted maple neck too. But what would really be interesting is all black hardware…

Maybe all black jazz V 34.5" with maple fretboard (and sub 4kg)…

Very happy with my 2025 Fender American Professional II P Bass V. The build quality, playability, and tone are excellent.
I believe a replacement/improved series will be released and the one I have suits me well.

I'd go for a Mod Shop bass over an Am Pro II any day. Which is what I did actually. My Mod Shop Pbass is an amazing bass, it's got the colour I wanted, and it plays fantastic. What's more, it cost me the same as a brand new Am Pro II here in the UK. So why go for a standard Am Pro II when you can get a more personalised bass for the same money?
What I like about the Mod Shop as well is that they're basically Am Pros I, not II. The neck is not yellow like the II's, which I prefer, and it's a 4 bolt neck attachment too. That's ideal in the unlikely event something goes wrong with the neck, replacements are easier to source than the 5 bolt neck attachment of the Pro II's.

This is perfection

Is the nut modern P or vintage P width?

Is this the ice blue metallic? Looks great in person (haven't seen one in the wild).
