i think i like this one...sort of. Maybe if they add the metal string ferrules behind bridge.

if you follow Deke's exploits you're likely aware of his latest find up in Michigan, the owner will probably take $100 he couldn't get them to go less, only they know what they got.

I came upon this builder a while ago and the basses all look unfinished at best.The company is aptly named though,like I "Wish" these basses we're much better.With a lot of work you could probably make it decent but why not just go with a H.B. type to mod?The pictured bass by the OP is a joke right?

OK, everything about this bass looks horrible, is dumb, yada yada yada.

That said, there's actually a tiny bit of redneck rocket science in those tuners. Not every hick could have come up with that. I bet they actually work. If I were wanting to make a functional bass out of only things I can buy at Lowe's Home Improvement, that would be my tuner design.
