When you...

I hear the vocals as another instrument section, but I don't key in on the meaning of the lyrics very much if I'm playing. Our vocalist/songwriter sometimes tells me to break to the bridge (or something) on a certain lyric. I say, "This song has lyrics?" :D

For me, the music has to be good or I probably will not listen to it well enough to care about the lyrics. There may be exceptions, but I can't think of any, off hand. That is one of the main reasons I don't care to listen to rap. I'm not saying it is not good, so please don't slam me , it's just that what I've heard of it sounds too much the same.

i am bored of my sister she is always hearing too much bla bla songs grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

You know what i will go out write some **** about love and become a millionare.

Most artists think like this today they aren't stupid you know.Make a music piece *hit* is difficult making a hip hop hit is not take 2 beats loop them put some ***** lyrics and you are ready.boooom everyone speaks about the stupid song. You can also make a video clip put some chicks with boobs put them to dance and booom you are ****ing milianore!!!!

Thats why i always stay at oldschool music

You are in love, you hear songs but only the lyrics? You don't like the instrumental one? Then go read poetry. Those poetry people need more the money than the "love" crap artists

Depends... Some songs are very lyrics oriented... Some more musically oriented. There are some songs that I can groove to and could not tell you the words to save my life. But there are also songs that the lyrics just reach out and grab me, though I never totally ignore the music.
