For gigs during the working week where do they tend to be and would you say most of them are in the evening?.

Where are your weekday gigs ?

The only rock gigs I can ever get on weeknights are on Thursdays, and those tend to have smaller crowds. Blues and jazz gigs are much more common on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, but for some reason Tuesdays never seem to work out anywhere.
Yknow, I don't think I've ever played a show on a Tuesday either, weird.
For me, I pull a few 'indie rock' or 'showcase night' gigs for the original rock bands on Mon. and Thurs, and for the pub band it's not uncommon for us to play Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat at the same venue. All are evenings.

The last band I was in would play volunteer gigs at retirement centers in Oakland. These usually took place on weekday afternoons.
