Where did you go to college?

University of Florida (Gainesville) Aug '76, BA in Political Science
Troy State University (while stationed at Hahn AB in what was then Western Germany) 1981 (I think - have to look up the date to be sure) MS in International Relations
Spent three semesters taking Japanese at the School of Mines in Rapid City, SD while stationed at Ellsworth AFB, was undergraduate course / continuing education course, this was in 1984-85, mostly for my own edification, not for credit / degree

Most of the funding options in british universities are only available to british citizens. At masters level there aren't many exceptions, at PhD level things open up a bit more. But that tends to be giving access to funding to EU students.

Of course there are exceptions. So worth keeping an eye out for :)

While I can't reply about that particular users course, I know that most masters in the UK are 1 year. But it's generally a 50 week course. No summer break.

(In my case, two pretty intense semesters of taught & practical courses, then ~4 months or so solid in the lab + thesis)

Moravian College Class of 2009.

B.A. in Management, minor in accounting, concentration in marketing.

Moravian is a small liberal arts school in Bethlehem, PA.



Hopefully will be getting an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in the next few years.

University of Houston for my freshman year.
Transferred out to Stephen F Austin University to major in history, and get teacher certification. I'm now double majoring in Geography and History, with a minor in anthropology.

Everyone I know who has gotten a masters or PhD in chemistry or biotech always seemed to finish a year before every other program. At OU and SEMO they get out done with those masters degrees in 2 or 3 semesters, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same for him.

I suppose that's the case here too. I just would like to know if that particular Masters required a thesis. I've spoken to a few people who have Masters in the field of biology and they did not need to complete a thesis for the Masters degree. Every school and specific field is different.

Central Washington University; Ellensburg, WA, '77 – '79

I went for two years to study music theory with Robert Panerio and play in John Moawad's Jazz bands and choirs.

I dropped out after two years because I didn't want to take the required two years of Music History.

Loved the school and the programs!
John Moawad passed away in December. Rest in peace, sir. Job very well done!
