Where do we bassists work? v2.0

I fix copy machines and printers. Driving from one call to the next for the past twelve years has been when I've really learned to sing. Try doing that in yer cubicle!
I'm spoiled now not having a boss looking over my shoulder, never dealing with office gossip. I hardly even talk to my supervisor and only go into the company HQ for a couple hours per week. It's not good money but it's a fun job.

I work for the fire department. Kind of a cool gig for a musician. In the downtime when you're not training, working out, or on a call you can jam in the app bay. Bring your guitar to work sorta thing. That's cool. We've got another guy on my shift who plays guitar. Don't plan to ever be in a band with him but it's fun to jam while you're on the clock.

The schedule makes being in a band miserable though. Nothing worse than being unavailable different days every week.
