Where do you find musical happiness?

Every once in a great while, I find myself suddenly playing well, and singing very on-key (instead of sort of) at the same time. And that is the most awesome feeling in the world.

Indeed. When this happens to me, most of the time either my bass playing or my singing is on auto-pilot. Or both. What this means I have no idea.

I play as bass & sometimes guitar in an irregular rotation on a worship team--that does it
Playing on my own when things just click
Playing with other when I am able to, as the opportunity arises --& it clicks

Not worrying about a band & gigs & clubs & stuff, removes a lot of stress & I can play just for the enjoyment of it and fulfill JS Bach's statement about the purpose of music as well...
