Where do you get your pedals?

I used to buy through Prymaxe until they sent me the wrong pedal. They did give me a refund, but they didn't even acknowledge anything I said in the emails, so they still might have mislabeled pedals. Now I'll probably try and buy used more often.

On line, or if I want to enjoy the process, I drive to to True Tone in Santa Monica - certainly the most impressive store for pedals ever. I don't get much of a discount, but I'm okay with that - they run a cool store and I want to support that.

I know the place.... I think it was there that I bought my 3leaf audio GR2
I had 5 days off, and I decided to make a small trip and treat myself to this pedal I was checking out at the time ... I tried to get a discount by telling them I flew from Paris to LA for the pedal.. (Without mentioning that as an airline employee I don't pay that much)
Well , they were impressed .... But no discount :) hehehe

Anyway.. Selling it in France allowed me to get the price I bought it for in LA ;) , that helped pay the Wonderlove hehehehehe

I think most of my current pedals are either from TB classifieds or Ebay. Unlike a bass, when you buy a pedal you know what you are going to get 99% of the time, and since pedals are pretty durable, why not get them cheaper? The one pedal on my board right now that I bought new is the EHX Electric Mistress that I bought from Bass Exchange (https://www.bassexchange.com/). I bought the Mini Pedal Train it is on from SweetWater. I can't remember where the Dunlop brick came from.
I'm not into super crazy boutique pedals that one guy makes in his garage, so I don't need a special hookup.

TB classifieds has been the single largest purchase point. Locally I've purchased from Buffalo Brothers and Super Sound Music. Online I've shopped directly from manufacturers (usually through ebay sites), Tunnel Vision Music usually has competitive prices and good service, Hello Music has horrible service but gets me on impulse buys too often.

Prymaxe & Bassefx, mostly. I've bought several pedals from Prymaxe and I've been very pleased with them! Decent selection, Always have a coupon available, Fast shipping, Great return policy! I haven't bought as much from Bassefx, but Chad really took care of me on a recent transaction, so I'm definitely gonna throw some more business his way! Although I'm from Indiana, I've never bought anything from Sweetwater. I hear a lot of good things about them, so I'll probably give them a go shortly.

+1 to this. True Tone is a neat store. Lot's of pedals, pretty good bass selection.
