Where to find Squier pickguards?

I am on the lower end of bass instruments. I love my Squiers, though! Mostly P Basses but also J Basses. The problem is they mostly come with boring all white or all black single ply PG's. I like tort for the most part or sometimes pearl, or 3 ply even B or W.

I know there are many factories having made or still making them in China, Indonesia, Korea, etc., over the past 30+ years, and I am not sure about Q.C.

But I am tired of buying the Amazon specials that are close but no cigar without mods (filing, moving screw holes, etc.). I even bought a Fender branded Squier PG in tortoise for my Squier J Bass and it didn't fit. I had to force it to fit another Squier JB. I don't want to make my own, either.....

So, you wise collective of low-frequencied instrumentalists, what say you? (And no, I don't want to upgrade/change instruments, either! I relic/mod them and after I am done, they are 90% as good as my 1979 P bass)........thanks!

I'm also a big Squier fan. 2 of my basses are parts-basses with all Squier parts.

I have some pretty plain pickguards, I like all white to offset paint work. But this place will work off a tracing and get you exactly what you need at a pretty good price. I've had good luck with them.

I ordered this guard for my 2010 Squier CV 50s P from Paradox Guitar Supply on Reverb, and it was a perfect fit. Just read their listing titles carefully to make sure you’re ordering the right guard for your exact year/model of bass and you should be golden.

I've seen these listings on Reverb. Some of those PG's are $100.00, though. For a bass that sometimes costs me $125.00 give or take, that's a big ask. Luckily, on some Squiers, when I do relic them, I don't care about extra holes being added. Sometimes, though, I'd like a "perfect" fit and thus I have been stuck.....

What specific model do you have? There are many versions of Squiers out there.
I have a Classic Vibe Jazz and the 4 ply tort guard from my 1984 AVRI fits it perfectly.

For OEM Fender, Squier, or aftermarket for same, I've used . . .

. . . .and clicked on the BASS PARTS prompt at the top left corner of the page. These guys stock a lot of parts at generally reasonable prices, either Fender or Squier OEM, or aftermarket from Schaller to Wilkinson. Bought a Jazz pickguard from them that was off just a tiny fraction of an inch around the contol plate, but nowhere near enough for mess with.

I've always had great luck and great service from them.

I don't see "Bass Parts" on the upper left....sorry.

Squiers are ''quirky'' depending on the year and place they were made. I guess that's part of a lower QC.
Another option that could be interesting for you is to wrap the pickguard with some kind of vinyl material. i haven't found prints of the classics, torts and pearls, but there are definitely some funky and cool looking alternatives that can be found. And it's one of the easiest options!
