Where to put my compressor in my chain

Hey guys
hope you's can help me out , my pedal chain currently is
line selector ( switch between fretted and fretless basses)
Tuner
7 band eq (fretless set up)
7 band eq (fretted set up)
Trex octavius
mxr m87 compressor
solidgoldfx beta overdrive
boss bass flanger
boss chorus
the eq is on all the time as i use it to shape my sound should i put my compressor before my eq or after ????
New to compressors so am kind of unsure, help would be very much appreciated
cheers guys

I think it probably depends. If you want the compressor to help make the two instruments (and their two EQs) similar in volume, then put it after them. But if you want the compressor to just even out hot spots on your instrument and uneven technique, then you may as well put it before them.

I put my M87 before my EQs (single but programmable unit) simply because I don't want anything altering the input level into the comp.
