This is where i am leaning. Well, exchange fire for dumpster.
Vinyl, or any kind of PVC and high heat/fire is a recipe for toxic fumes. Very strongly recommend you don't burn a ton of it.

An "album" is typically regarded as a format, not as a medium. And, yeah, I don't think burning vinyl is a very good idea. Then again, burying the stuff seems like an equally bad idea. Terrible stuff for the environment any way you slice it.Yeah, i dont get it. I still hear a new "album" is released, but its a CD.

If you noticed, the modern vinyl is pressed from digital to analog. Modern vinyl today ain’t the same![]()
If you set your oven to the lowest temp you can get them warm enough to manipulate them. Make pretty cool chip bowls and such.
I would, but they’re not really made of rubber anymore. Also, I would just for a laugh. When you buy tires for your car, do you ask for rubbers?
Nice. We have an artist that does this too and the work is really good as well. Here is another option; especially for the damaged records. I met a craft vendor who makes clocks out of old records. They told me they are always looking for albums. You might want to contact them. They are in western Pennsylvania.

There were always just Records to me, too, but I don’t have any issues with people referring to them as vinyl. How’s that any different than referring to music on tape or digital? it just describes the medium it was released as.Call them vinyl (singular), vinyl records, LPs, albums. Anything but vinyls.
