Album doesn’t mean record. It doesn’t even automatically imply a sound recording. Photo albums also exist. It’s a presentation style (these works in this order), not a media format.Yeah, i dont get it. I still hear a new "album" is released, but its a CD.
You know what’s funny? Every photo you showed was a record made into a clock. Great vinyl recordings are a joy to listen to, so don’t get me wrong, but analog clocks (especially kitschy ones) are as much or even more obsolete than LP’s in not great condition. I also didn’t notice anyone using the term LP here. Here is another option; especially for the damaged records. I met a craft vendor who makes clocks out of old records. They told me they are always looking for albums. You might want to contact them. They are in western Pennsylvania.
I have some Edison Cylinder Recordings that are over 100 years old like these and I still have the original cylnder boxes with them. Sorry to say they are not worth much.
Interesting, though. Do you have a player?
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]No, I do not have a player for them. I wish I did.
