Where to stash the pick?

I used to hold it in my mouth until one day.. I was on an arena tour and jetlagged. Was holding it in my mouth . .it went down the hatch by accident.. Made it through the encore. They took me to the hospital... Cost $8000 to have a specialist come in and take out...

I just hold it with my mouth. Or wedge it between the pickguard and body if i dont need it for a while.

You still got that $8000 pick?
And I though those Bluechip picks were expensive at $35 a piece.

I don't use a pick much, so it's normally in my pocket. If I need it on short order or if I have stopped using it in the middle of a song, I stick it in the corner of my mouth, with most of the pick sticking out. I haven't had problems with drooling or swallowing it, but I suppose there's always a chance of that.

I can't believe all you people that keep picks in your mouth didn't Eddie VanHalen get tongue cancer that way. Picks should come with a surgeon generals warning DANGER picks cause tongue cancer not smoking so put the pick in your pocket and light up.

I keep my picks on a holder on my mic stand. I don't use them that often, so when I'm done with one, I either toss it in the crowd or just drop it. I played in one band where the lead singer would collect my picks and hand them back to me at the end of the night.
