I play in a trio, no drummer, 2 acoustic guitars, singers. I play both active (Warwick, Cort) and passive (Fender, SX) basses. Signal is always DI in performance (small venues, less than 300 and some outdoor festivals under 1000) and will be used for home rehersal. The tone I like is old school not HIGH FIDELITY. I'm NOT a slapper or a popper. The music is traditional Hawaiian veering into folk, and I'd like play some blues in the future.
Would you go with this 320 watt Eden combo or this Link Removed
Eden is more expensive by about $200.
I've played the Carvin and it sounds nice, maintains definition but is capable of good bottom end. I played AN Eden -- it was a 410 combo and sounded great but is BIG overkill for what I need. Where would you guys put your money?
