I agree that the B on the Ibanez is pretty floppy. It's surprisingly not a problem on the Yamahas. The B on mine feels as good or better than on the 35" scale Lakland I had.

Which Bass should I buy?

Between the two you mentioned I'd go with the Schecter.. Although if it were me I would not pick either of those.. I owned an older SR505 and a Schecter Studio Stiletto 5.. and between those two I definitely preferred the Schecter.
I've had a 505 for about a year. The guy before me had it for about 3 years. Great bass, no issues. The finish is thin, though, and will wear easily if that is something that bothers you. I don't mind the mojo, personally.
Edit: The B string on my 505 is not floppy at all. Not as tight as my Lakland, but the extra inch helps a lot with that.

why are these you only two choices?
What is your budget / what are your needs/requirements - and THEN decide. Please don't tell us you are deciding based on pictures you see on Sweetwater or MF!

Well I have played these basses before and I really like them. I have tried other basses and these are the ones I like the best. I have not played the Stiletto Session 5, but it looks nice and has better features than the ibanez.
I really like the way the Yamaha's look, but no music store carries them where I live.Considering your choices I would certainly try a Yamaha TRBX305 or TRBX505 (a BB425 is really nice too, but more P(/J)-bass like, as said above). These basses have a more meaty feel to them than an Ibanez. More solid. They are great as to construction quality, finish, sound and electronics. Just MHO. Great necks too. For sure. (They do not pay me).
Yeah I really like this bass. It seems like it has more features than the ibanez. I really like the string through bridge. I really like the way this bass looks too. It looks better than the ibanez.

Try an Ibanez SR905 - neck through bubinga/mahogany, curved back, and bartolini pickups. these sound great and are well made. I think GC has a used one online (they were discontinued). I had one for a while and couldnt believe how well it played and sounded. The SR505 sounds good as well, but I found it hard to find a 'good one' in the stores. So maybe get one that hasnt been out of a box yet, or else get a Schecter. I admit the Schecter will be more durable than the SR505, as someone else here mentioned (which I hate to admit... I really dig the Ibanez.... when you can find a good one.)
I think these two basses are the best in their class. Play em both and decide which you like best.
I am a huge fan of everything Yamaha. I've always liked Yamaha pickups.
The Sessions also have upgraded electronics from the others.
I almost hate to say it, but I would probably lean toward the Session; and I'm really not a fan of EMGs, but dang these really do play, sound and look great. All "IMO" of course!
Well I have been watch videos and reading review on the Yamaha TRBX505 and it is growing on me. The fact that you can go active/passive really impresses me. I really like the Ibby SR505, but the thin finish is a concern of mine. Plus all other Ibanez basses that I have owned have sounded a bit "thin" to my ears. Its a toss up between the Yamaha and the Schecter!
I think now you will really have to go out and hold them close to your heart. Or order online from a store you can easily return them to. Feel, listen and decide. Have fun.
Go with the Ibanez mate. the tone and diversity of that bass beat the stiletto any day. The finish is weak on the Ibanez, but it looks kinda cool when youve had one for a few years and it has some beauty marks on it. I own a 504 and have jammed on a 506 numerous times. I love those basses for the price that they are.
