P's - too much of a one-trick pony, and the trick doesn't do it for me without *heavy* EQ'ing
Any bass where the G string (on 5ers) is prone to slipping off the fretboard edge. So far IME that includes Musicmen and Carvin/Kiesels
Peavey Cirrus - love the tone, but can't get action low enough without grinding down bridge saddles
