Alex Webster or Steve DiGiorgio?
There''s this Chinese dude, man. He's not really Chinese, but thinks he is. He's into martial arts and voodoo. He plays the bass. I call him McNasty. I'll ask him.
no worries mate, you do that.
I saw Cannibal Corpse 5 days ago; probably the best show I've seen yet. After they ended their set, Alex came walking by the barrier and thanking the fans and I actually shook his hand. They may be neck-and-neck with musicianship, but Alex is on top.
Definitely Steve DiGiorgio, though usually buried in the mix the **** he does is amazing and not what is expected for metal!
But part of that is that I like the bands that he's been in more than those of Alex Webster.
Yeah Sadus is good and when he played in Death that was really good
I named my band Changing Weather after a Steve DiGiorgio song.
Steve Di Giorgio, hands down. He effectively invented playing fretless jazz-style bass in extreme metal. Alex Webster is a goddamned machine of death, but Steve Di Giorgio will always be my metal bass idol.
