Also anything by The Silverfish, they still did the best insanely distorted bass sound I have ever heard (See if you can find TFA somewhere), it has the scariest bass sound of all time....

So I'd have to say, just about anything by the Police or Boston or STP.

I can't believe nobody mentioned Boston.( or maybe I just overlooked it) Whoever played on those albums had a killer tone, and the lines were always moving.

All the bass lines on "Animals" by Pink Floyd give me goose bumps as well, one of my favorite Floyd albums aside from Meddle.
