Sunn with a Sunn backup...

Apparently, everyone must use Genz-Benz judging from the poll, lol. What the heck "other" brands are there that everyone is voting for? Ashdown? Vintage Sunn?

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot half the planet owns a Markbass something or other. Carry on.

Yeah, what the heck is Roland up there for? GB should be named and MB too. Roland definitely belongs in the 'other' category.

Um, some of us more with it bassists ;) use Walter Woods :bassist:, another (amazing) amp that fits the Other category.

GK (800RB, 2001RB, MB500...possibly MB800)
GB (Streamliner 900)
Mesa (Walkabout, previously M2K Basis)
Ampeg (SVP-CL, SVP-Pro)
Aguilar (GS112's, previously a DB 359)
Bag End (S15D's)

GK and Bag End is my primary gigging rig. I'll use the other stuff for different sounds when I feel like changing it up.

I started out with a terrible Crate amp. Now I have a GK MB210 combo, and I love it. It doesn't have the classic tone of an Ampeg, but its sound is perfect for my band (just drums, bass and acoustic guitar). It's powerful, sounds great at every volume level, and I can easily carry it with one hand. Hell, I can carry it with one finger.

I'm sure the day will come when my tonal preference has changed and I'll want something else, but for now, this amp is perfect for me.
