I'd like the advice of the fellow TB'ers on a cabinet or cabinets choice to match my brand new GK1001RB II.
Here's the requirements:
- Not too bulky or heavy since I'm overseas and want to keep shipping reasonable.
- Even frequency response, I like mids as much as I like serious lows and crispy highs. Some coloration is fine, shouldn't be too sterile. Towards modern.
- Regular or NEO speakers.
- Budget is $1000.
- 10" or 12" speakers only. No 15", please.
- Unfortunately, I can't try before buying.
I play a Lakland DJ4 with Nordstrand pickups, J-retro preamp and round strings. Any help is appreciated.
