Which cab would you pick on paper?

Ashdown has a distinct tone you may like or not like.
I don't know if that signature tone is coming from the amp alone, the cab or both.
It's not my cup of tea, but I will say that Asdown are realiable amps/cabs.
IMO.
If you can get soundbites of Ashdown (or better live in a store), it might help you decide.

There is another thing about the rootmaster cabs that is confusing me.

All of them state frequece ranges from 60Hz to 20kHz (although the founder, Mark Gooday, says that they will always make their products for bass, which happens below 80Hz, but thats a different subject.

However, the 115 says 37Hz to 2kH, but it has a tweeter, which it claims brings "increased top-end presence".

My question is, what kind of tweeter only goes as high as 2kH (I would class this more as high mids)?Is it possible that this is a typo?

Yes I also found that strange (and impossible), I am not quite sure where that got those specs from, I am guessing they didn't measure them.

Yes, I would love another GK, possibly the 212, but that would take nearly 70% of the budget I need for the barefaced. The Ashdown would be a b-day present, so not deducted from the Barefaced budget. I don't think I could get away with a GK 212 and a Barefaced in the near future.

What issues would the sealed cab cause relative to sound? I know it is supposed to be tighter, and not as low, but is that always the case?

What about another European company like TC or MarkBass? I assume that they would be less expensive than American brands in Spain.

Markbass are by no means cheap here, I think they are cheaper in the US, the same goes for TC

Now that I think some more, you are completely right. When I was in the United Kingdom of England-land last summer, a pack of Rotosounds cost about 38 pounds!

Then there is this grate label that means nothing. What is the point of Designed or Engineered in a country, then put, Made in China? I see this on clothes and other products now. Just put China and be done.

Is this permission to commence hijack?
What have you narrowed it down to? I use 210 most of the time but love 210s x2 stacked vertically. You should try it if you get the chance. Do not forget pictures when your new cab arrives.

I have narrowed it down to either the 210 or 212. I will be using it mainly along with a sub, so it will only have to deal with >100hz, I think both of them will be capable and work well. I am sort of leaning more towards the 212 in case I want to use it on its own, although the 210 would work also...

Decisions, decisions... at leat I have narrowed it down to 2.

Due to EPA and worker safety regulations some individual components and most tubes can no longer be manufactured in USA, that much is well understood.
The processes involved in their manufacture are highly toxic. Still the better components, generally come from manufacturers in Korea or Japan and of course Russia for tubes.

I'm referring more to companies who have entire boards and other sub assemblies manufactured off shore to avoid paying workers a living wage.
