Which Colors Correspond With Which Notes???

Thanks again! Are you like this IRL?

I don’t get it. You guys were clearly not serious about your replies (in relation to the OP) so getting a non serious reply seemed to be in kind. Must have forgot the lols.... I thought it was funny and not particularly assholish. (as you suggested in a private conversation only to make it a conversation to which I can’t respond) Definitely not anymore assholeish than people who respond with silly comments....Which I’ve come to understand around here. (Pssst I didn’t get it at first.) I Was actually playing along. Sorry you didn’t get my drift.

You said thanks a lot, I said you’re welcome. Pretty sure that’s how that one goes.

Is it really just a last word kind of thing. Didn’t get that one either. You can type “last word” if it is. I promise I won’t respond to that one. Unless there’s more in the post. Lol

To answer your question...Yes....sort of. When I’m driving if people yell at me I get out of the car to see why they’re so angry. Seems only polite. Lol. There the lols should help yes?

Have a good one. Thanks for the input. Ixlramp went way above and beyond to satisfy this one for me. Actually dug it out from 3 months or more ago.... I hadn’t even been here for that long. It’s cool to know that so many have thought about this on some level. Even if it’s just about eggshell not being a color at all.

Edit: just noticed you’re from Brooklyn New York and consider yourself the most ignored of 2019. Thought you’d have thicker skin... and be less likely to ignore people...that’s just one less chance to be ignored yourself... If you’re fishing for an ignore though....you’re out of luck. I’m Canadian. We’re way too polite for that. We talk it out. Lololololololol. There. See that means funny like a joke.

It's subjective:

Chromesthesia - Wikipedia

A guitarist I worked with decades ago has chromesthesia. I didn't ask him which particular colors, but how he could define that the pitch was slightly sharp or flat, which depended on the shading, as he told me.

If he's also able to hear colors, ask him if plaids or patterns sound symphonic.

That would drive you up the wall if all the colors were atonal. I never asked him about polyphony, I only gave him single pitches and had a digital tuner to check it. And I couldn't believe his accuracy. It seemed otherworldly.
I've always found this phenomena interesting. It's like some people decode infomation in the field very differently than the rest.
Does he find that some colors have an emotional impact? Like having perfect pitch in a world where guitarists tune to a random pitch, or the noises of the world not aligning to concert pitch?

I haven't seen him for 25 years or so, we met on a two year music course. He wasn't bothered by anything away from concert pitch, to him it just had a color and a shade. I didn't quiz him much, I felt he had had enough of being asked about it. Of course music students are going to be interested, it's like some kind of mystical property.

Superpower i think. Thanks for tolerating my curiosity.
