Can you recommend any cabinets to go with this? Thanks
I've got an Ibanez p3115 , love it ,its got amazing cahones for what it is and it has the added featuere of having a head that detaches and can be used as a standalone head ,though i understand these are no longer being made
No Ampeg combos in there. I would give one a try before you decide on something else.
I made my own 1x10 out of a gutted Kustom PA cabinet and an Eminence 8 ohm speaker (Legend BP102-8) but an Eden EX110-4-U might be a good choice for a ready-made. Just about any small cab will work just fine. You can haul your bass and the MB200 around to local music stores and try out 10s, 12s and even 15s until you find what sounds best to you - and meets your portability needs.
The MB200 can handle 2 8ohm cabs, too.
I have a new GK MB-112 and its beautiful.
I voted for the GK, plus if you want to add on sometime down the road, you could pick up a 115MBP to go with it.
