Which Compressor? Becos CompIQ Mini One vs. Mini Pro

Hey, y'all!

So, I believe the newest version of the Mini Pro came out after OvniLabs stopped updating much, and is a different version than the Mini Pro currently on the Compressor Reviews site.

I'm looking at a 1590A-sized comp for my travel / gigging mini-board and trying to figure out if I need the extra features/price of the Pro vs. the One. What say Talkbass?

Edit: FWIW, if I wanted to go with the older model of the pro (w/o the Feed knob and adjustable SCF), I found one in stock for the same price as the One from a different vendor.

Of course, if there's another amazing, full featured tiny compressor I'm all ears.

If first in chain, the One is fine. The older version of the One has an internal pot to adjust the upper threshold. If later in the chain, the Mini Pro might be better just for more control of threshold.

Thank you! I dug, and dug, and dug, and discovered someone in the compressor thread said the Pro was leagues above the others, with the new features. It was one of those 'buy once, cry once' things. An extra $50 in the grand scheme of things for a compressor I'll probably keep for a long, long time is worth it.

I agree with the point about threshold control. I have recently sold my old compressor (EBS true bypass) in order to buy one with variable threshold control (Keeley Bassist)...
