Which drivers for my project?

Hi, me and my band have been experimenting with some new sounds. We play at CGCF. I'm currently using a GK 800rb (i'm borrowing it from a friend) into a Mesa Boogie PowerHouse 115 cabinet. I'm planning on buying a GK 700rb for myself since it's cheaper than the 800rb, and has more power. I'm looking to get a different kind of tone, though. I play in a 3 piece, but we might add another guitarist in, so that'd give me a good chance to experiment with new tones. I'm aiming towards an extremely agressive growl kind of tone, that cuts, but stays in tact with the kick drum. I'm thinking for the amp, i'll just crank the low mids and go from there. But the real question here is: should I get another 115, should I get 10" speakers, should I get a 2x15, ect.
I've been thinking about getting another 115 or selling my 115 and buying a 215, but I don't know which brand I should choose. I like the 15's for the amount of low end they give out, but at the low tuning that I play at, I bet the 10 inchers would produce a lot of natural growl... help me out here?

Sell your 15, buy an LDS 15/6.5. It will cover all the frequencies and tones you want, and it gets super loud. I mean, ridiculous loud. The 15/6 has an Eminence Kappalite 3015LF and an 18sound ND640 driver, both of which are pretty much hailed as gamechangers in their respective size category. You can search all over TB for the merits of a dedicated midrange speaker (the 6.5). If you read KJung's review, he pairs it with a Markbass F500 (which is well within your price range if you are considering the GK) and says that, together, he gets an absolute hammer of tone.

Wow thanks man. Those cabinets look great. I like the 2x15 w/ the 2 extra 6.5" mid drivers. It's like $400 or so. But I don't think they sell them anymore, do they?
