Which Hercules stand will be better for basses

I have five string bass

the K&M Memphis Pro is better than either, probably the best 3 leg base stand I've seen IMHO

Either one is okay for most 5 string basses out there.

Unless you have a bass (or could also consider future bass or guitar) with unique body styling such as Gibson Flying V or Gibson Explorer body style, then the right one would suit better.

Either will work well. I’ve had the one on the left for several years with no complains at all.

I have the style on the left and use it for five string basses all the time. Thst would be my pick
