WHICH HIPSHOT BASS XTENDER FOR G&L TRIBUTES?

Has anyone put a Hipshot detuner on a L2k Tribute or an LB 100 Tribute?

Neither G&L nor Hipshot could give me a definitive answer as to which model I need;

apparently it's not the same as the USA replacements.

I've looked through TB and outside sources, but haven't had any luck finding an answer.

I'm also not sure whether I need a short key or a regular key.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They don’t make one I think

the best you can do is try to find an out of production BT14 or a BT1 but the clover key is slightly different shape I think
You will be drilling holes either way

Looking at the shape of the Tribute tuners, the BT7 might be the closest, but it won’t be a drop-in.

I think your best option is not to attempt to match the hole pattern, but to match the clover key.
Anything you get is going to require drilling
