My wife is sensitive to bass frequencies from my practicing (gets migraines) so I usually practice through headphones. (It's funny, but when she hears a full mix of all the instruments, the bass doesn't seem to bother her).
I have plenty of headphone options (Ashdown Tone Pocket, headphone-out from a few amps, Vox Amplitude, computer interface), but I really prefer to hear some acoustic sound of the bass tone pushing air. But quiet. Portability would be another big factor; thus the interest in these mini amps. I'm not interested in any wild effects (though they can be fun to mess with), just a basic pleasant bass tone.
Does anyone have recommendations or suggestions about or experience (good or bad) with either the Blackstar or the Joyo?
Thanks, in advance!
