Its Christmas time, and I'm going to have about $200 to buy a loop pedal. THe main thing is that I want to be able to play many layers of sound over something I've already played, anything more is just extra. I've been eyeing the Boss LoopStation RC-20XL, but tell me if there's anything else out there that's better for what I want for under $200. Thanks a lot!

Which loop pedal should I buy?

I've used the Boss LoopStation (the 50) and the Line 6 DL4. I'd say go for the Boss. Or maybe A-B the Boss and an Akai Headrush E2
or a Boomerang!
IMO go for the Line 6 DL4, you can pick one up for $200 if you look around. Try before you buy to see if it suits your needs though
