Sadly I haven't been able yet to try it in a band setting, but it allowed me to try out a lot of modulation at the same time and helped me discover modulation that I really liked. So for that it was worth the price of admission.
I do like the choruses on it and can get some fun sounds out of the flanger. And the multi overtone is fun as hell. But I do feel most of the effects work better on guitar than on bass.
That being said, it's still on my board and I haven't found a reason to remove it. I did add a JAM pedals Ripple to my board recently.
Thanks a lot. I'm now torn between Wampler Terraform (@600 Ohms is fond of it) and MD200 (dismissed Alexander Wavelength in the process). On one hand I'm worried about BOSS being too "guitarish" but at the same time, at least from my experience, those high-mid-present-guitary modulation efects work well in the mix. As long as they don't screw the bottom end of your signal... would you say this about MD200?
