I'm currently using a BBE OptoStomp Compressor and I'm looking at getting an MXR. I'm not crazy about the OptoStomp though it does the job. I mainly use the compressor to even out my poor slap technique and I don't need it with fingers. I like the MXRs as they are the smallest things out there and every inch on the board counts. I've noticed there is a DynaComp, a Custom Comp, and a Super Comp. Ok, what gives? Any recommendations or comments on these?:eyebrow:

I think I'll just wait on that new pretty MXR bass compressor.

If you are compressing for slap, the new one will be FAR superior to anything they have available right now. You really need the variety of variable controls to get a great slap tone.

FWIW, I was going to get the MXR but decided not to wait and get the FEA Opti-FET. It is a little more expensive, but it has some additional features that allow for an amazing amount of flexibility. I am getting the best slap tone I have ever gotten.
