Which Neo Cabs Go Deep? Single Cab Options?

You can't make a ported cabinet of similar size, that does the same thing.

But, you already know that horse.
Sure it can be done, the LF sensitivity penalty kills the sealed cabinet advantage under these conditions.

Bass guitar doesn't produce sub frequencies loud enough to really matter, but ports eat power, take up unnecessary space, mask other frequencies, make things loose and flubby, and sound like a roto hammer at loud volumes.

The way to go is reflex radiators. You can make a cab the size of a sealed box, and tune it with a passive cone, to acheive the same low end bump as a ported box. But smaller, more efficient, and elimate chuffing completely.

I had a friend build me a sealed box for them. 1ft volume each sub, and a rack for my amps. It's perfect.

935w running @ 1 ohm. It hits so hard, and sounds so clean.

I thought this was the case but I wasn't confident enough to say so. I believe that in home theater audio sealed subs are preferred for this reason. You go ported if you need to trade volume for depth to achieve a perceived louder sub.

That said, for a bass guitar application that trade might make sense.

This is so wrong that I’m surprised you posted it.

Ports do not “eat power”, in fact ported cabinets are almost always MORE efficient. The rest is just internet BS from sites that reject science as reality.

Subwoofers dude. I'm talking about Bass. Deep bass. Not full range speaker implementations.

Yall port full range speaker boxes to get resonation at a frequency below what your speakers can audiably produce. Which works great for that purpose. Although, when your speakers can faithfully produce those frequencies on thier own, ports actually hinder the situation, and create the problems I've stated. It's not wrong, and it's also not my opinion.

If it were, there wouldn't be so many different options. There would just be ported enclosures. They were the first, and there wouldnt have been a need to create anything different.

They all have their own benefits, tradeoffs, and situational advantages.

But, for both subs, and bass guitar enclosures, I prefer sealed over ported. That one is my opinion.

But, if I were going ported, I'd take a horn port. I would take the larger enclosure, to get a more faithful reproduction of sound.

Speaker manufacturers.

Ones that specialize in deep, loud, and literally destructive bass.

Application, marketing, spec, and customer service.

Every company tells you exactly how to build your box for the speakers you choose. They even tell you the port size along with the internal volume to maximize their product. If you talk to them, they'll tell you more.

They are in the business of out thumping the competition. In actual thump competitions. And they all say the same things. Kicker, JLA, Pioneer, Alpine, Sunn, Fosgate.

On top of that, there's also a plethora of information regarding history and application that will tell you that ported enclosures were used before sealed ones. At least, for producing bass. I can't tell you if they ported boxes for full range applications off the bat, I doubt that they did. But, they did when they made the first sub woofer.
 
Ahhh, car audio is the king of spec manipulation combined with cabin gain and undefined multiple (approaching infinite) close boundaries. This has nothing to do with broadband audio reproduction in an open environment with half-space boundaries.

Regarding the history of subwoofers, they are a relatively recent development in audio reproduction.

Sealed cabinets were used well before ported cabinets were developed, your history is incorrect here by a couple of decades at least.
