Which one and why?

Which one should I go for?

I don't know either well enough to know how they directly compare, but I do kind of have a handle on what a G&L, tone and feel wise, what tonal range they're good at etc. I know nothing of Mayones other than from listening to players like Mohini Dey. I would definitely have to check out the Mayones in person before making a decision. Voting for it just out of curiosity as much as anything.

I'd be looking for which one would be easier to move on. That would be the Mayonnes.
Conventional type bass both visually and soundwise.
You better love the G&L because I think you'll be stuck with it.
