You might want to consider adding the Walter Woods amps to your poll. There are many of us out there in TB land that use one. Granted it's a real expensive amplifier now, but it didn't used, to be and that's when most of us got them. That could be part of the your large other category

HIJACK ALERT: I gotta give a shout out to my new (used) Phil Jones D200 head.
It's possibly the best voiced amp for both Upright and Electric I've ever played. SOOO easy to get a nice tone. It's as though the preamp was designed for the widest range of useable tone. The cut ability of the lower registers of the 5 band EQ is sensational for dialing out trouble spots in rooms. It's like you can't make the head sound bad.

Only knocks so far: only 150w into 4ohm. Compressor is very close to worthless.

I'd like to try that Super Flightcase one day.

EA iamp 800 into epi T-112 or epi and markbass 115, but the markbass has to be returned soon even though I really like it, and my EA NL-210 is on the way. We'll see who of the NL-210 and T-112 will prevail as the most played and if I even feel the need to keep both.

I would really like to try some Phil Jones stuff but I am not ready to throw down the cash to try it blindly.

Ive settled on a Schertler Pub 280 for most things, i blend the Dyn-B with a ATM 350 clip on mic through a Headway 2 channel preamp and seem to get a good sound out of it. Been bullied a bit recently though by loud drummers...

Does anyone else use schertler stuff anymore?

Does the ATM go to your backline? I've only tried it out in my upstairs room and have got a lot of feedback (perhaps not surprisingly). Am I likely to have better luck in a bigger room where the gig is? I have used it once to front of house and the sound guy was very impressed.

Phil Jones D200 head for small gigs with EA Wizzy10 or TC Electronic RS210 cab.
For bigger gigs, TC Electronic RH450 head with RS210 or RS212.

As a test pilot, I spend a lot of time with TC Electronic head &cabs and I honestly find that it's a really good stuff.
Better for piezo pickups than many other head but I find something easier, warmer, more organic but sill precise with the little Phil Jones head.
(Hard to describe, just my feelings...)

Both head have good quality DI inside..but I still bring my Countryman whan I need PA support.

My favorite config is by far the D200 head with RS210.
