I just got the Affinity 5 and had no idea that the neck was 1 7/8" wide until I measured it. It's so comfortable to me that I never thought of it as being a wide neck bass.

The neck is the stock neck...slightly wider heel but a Jazz profile...and sorry, yes it's a 4 string.
