Which Stand

Yup! My build is based on the same website, but I'm kinda OCD about stuff, and have a great woodshop with lots of cool tools. Mine actually cost north of $75 and took several days, but I don't care, since it's like a piece of furniture now. I also added a 6" shelf that runs across the back of the stand for picks, cables, polishing cloths, straps and the like.

I vote Hercules as well. I have the two guitar version and it is very stable.

Thanks! I just realized that photo was taken before my wife sewed little microfiber "booties" for each of the pegs that separate the necks.

She was hoping I would have built a 3-bass stand, but it's built to accommodate 7 basses. After my current buy-buy-sell-swap project is over, I'll have five. So I need two more! Maybe an acoustic? or a MusicMan?
