I use Dunlop's. I also have a super thick Leveys strap, that I had to hammer with a ball peen hammer and a regular hammer in order to flatten it out. I put the flat peen down against there the lock washer goes (perfect fit) and hammered the ball peen part with a regular hammer (quite a few strikes too) carefully and deliberately. Eventually
It was flat enough to engage the lock washer.
