Which Strap Locks are You Using?

Dunlop Flush Mounts on every bass I have. I hate how far most strap locks stick out from the body of the guitar. Never had a failure and they keep my cases and gig bags from getting torn up.
Schaller/Fender on all of mine. Only problem was when the release 'ball' unscrewed, and the piece it unscrewed from retracted under spring pressure, leaving me no way to get the ball on or the lock off! Well, no way except a Dremel!
Helpful hint: In hindsight - in normal usage you should only need to pull the release to remove the straplock. If you ever have to pull to attach it, the ball is half unscrewed. Not sure how you would go about tightening, but if you don't have a Dremel, I'd replace it.

Guitarist dropped his guitar twice during last rehearsal... seems they all think strap locks will somehow hurt their "tone".

Was a diehard Dunlop guy until it failed on me. Now strictly Schallers on all of my basses except my AEB. I have a set of LOXX for the AEB but have not installed them yet.
Ernie Ball, I like the fact that you have to squeeze both sides to unlock them, feels more secure to me.
Currently using the Flush Dunlop ones and the warwick ones that came standard on the 2000's models (could be the same ones they use today im not sure). Ive also used the schaller's in the past.
Dunlop are by far my fav but thats mainly to do with the aesthetics of having them flush to the body. In terms of function both the dunlop and schaller were the same for my experience. They have a job, they both do the job well. I will say that the Dunlop locks came on the bass when i got it. If i was installing these myself i would 100% go with the schaller over having to route our the body of my guitar, no matter how minor the job.
The warwick ones are fine, the action on them is a little gritty feeling compaired to the others.

That looks really great.
Not sure about making the jump to Dunlops though... kinda bothers me that there's no mechanic catch if the pins fail.
I only use straplocks that come with a complimentary beverage...
