Double Bass Which strings do I have?

This may seem lame, but I'm trying to verify which strings I have on my upright. I believe they are Thomastik Spirocore. Each string is red at the tail piece end but they are each a different color at the tuning key. Do the colors signify a different gauge? I want to replace them with the same type.
thanks for any help

Depends on the colors. If it's yellow, light green, red and purple, then it's thomastik strings, but I think that's not very likely. Would be a mix of solo, weich, orchestra, and stark on one bass. Never seen that.

Most likely, it's some sort of Pirastro, since they color code the upper silks. And red down under, is that really red, or some sort of ruby red?

To put it short, pics will help.
