Was thinking about trying to get a sadowsky, but they can't do the ebony board and blocks. That would have been my first choice.

I am not looking for a LP bass, I am looking for a jazz style bass. But, I do have a gibby lp silverburst, love silverburst.....

Nordstrand offers blocks and binding. I don't know if they'll do an ebony board or sinverburst finish (they're not on the standard options list), but it's worth asking...

It might cost you between $4,000-$5,000, but Alleva-Coppolo would make a bass just like you want, and it would be killer. Carey Nordstrand would also be a great choice too.

LEJ has some pictures up on their website of basses that have all the options, but probably not on one instrument at the same time, if you get what I mean. They are expensive but not Fender Custom or Sadowsky expensive.

I'd say that LEJ and Nordstrand seem to by the biggest on my radar, I bet that LEJ could make it happen whereas I might be talking the Nordstrand guys into it.
