Very close. There is something about it that sitting weird with me, I don't know if its the shape of the body or maybe I expedt to see a j control plate and pickguard, I have no idea what. And that said, I am still digging a lot.

That said, Carey replied to me, and I ordered once from him and ended up speccing a bass that killed my hand (it was a wide and flat 6er neck, felt AWESOME for an hour and a half, and after 3 my had was killing). That bass was such a nice bass and I really dig Carey's work, I'd like to get it right this time ;)

Cool! Carey was great to work with when I ordered my SC5, as well, so I'm kinda pulling for him. :D

as far as i know, these builders offer jazz-style basses than can be customized more than sadowsky...

Atelier charges a lot of money for their basses and yet they use Warmoth necks...I never liked that, especially since Warmoth necks are pretty affordable.

Which model is that, or where are you seeing it? I don't see that in the specs for any of the models listed at [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] -- of course, I could just be missing it.

Rob Elrick!!!

Not only are his basses flat-out incredible, but he undercharges for them as well. He does every single neck entirely by hand, so a custom order like that should be simple for him and inexpensive for you!

I've got an NJS-5, and it continues to floor me every time I so much as look at it!
