I'm good.I like the color of that pickguard. More red than most tort guards (which are starting to look more wine colored). Looks great on the white. Do you know who made it? Jeannies?

When you look at the cost of a new Fender, Musicman, Ric, etc... it was a bargain to me. Especially for a hand made bass of this quality that was built to my exact specs... but I get your point.

I hear that... I started on a Sears/pennies catalog better from the 70s that my grandfather rescued from a garbage can... then spent paper route and birthday money on an ibanez destroyer (1982)... that lasted me 5 years until I was out of school.
I had a carvin, nice basses!
