White or black bass?

If the bass has a maple fretboard I usually go with a black bass. If the fretboard is rosewood then a white bass.

Oh the strings in that last pic...soooo many strings, I can't bear to look at the terrine! especially a strat of all things!!!...Seriously beautiful heard you have there. Your strat actually looks really classy

Hey, I hear ya' about too many strings. I'm barely decent on my basses. Put one of those little things with 6 strings in my hands and I REALLY suck! But I enjoy messing with them on occasion, and my guitar playing friends show me how good they CAN sound.

And a Strat compliment coming from YOU is greatly appreciated...

With a very few exceptions, nearly every electric instrument I've ever owned has been black. Of the ones I still own, only two are not black; one is off-white, and one is (dark) wood tone.

Black with white pickguards ... I just love that look.

That is one I wish I still had ... It was a 1989 white faded to cream 4003s5 ... I got it for about $1100+/- in 2001 ans sold it about 2005 for $1500+/-

It was a looker and a player ... It had a few battle scars from gigging ...
