I started on piano then added guitar and had big plans for rock stardom. When I was about 19 I was trying to play in bands, start bands, etc. The market where I was had a jillion guitarists, but not a lot of bass players. I borrowed a buddy’s and landed the spot in my first audition. The longer I played, the more I came to love the bass, but I still play guitar every day. And keys, and drums, and sing, and record, and compose etc, and plan to til I die.
