Who has been the greatest live act ever?

Why is Led Zepplin currently leading in the Polls... to me this is a NO BRAINER.. Pink Floyd has ALWAYS had the best shows live...
Ones that I haven't seen myself but will put up anyway: Zep, Floyd, The Who, Rush, The Dead, Phish.
Ones that I have seen: Tool and Children of Bodom are both unbelievable live acts, Tool for the sheer precision and lightshow (as well as the tunes) and Bodom for the raw energy and ability to work a crowd into a frenzy.

The Who, followed a VERY close second by Fishbone.
While Pink Floyd is magical live, they always had so much other stuff that made up the live show, and they also just stand there like statues. I'm taking this question to mean who just flat out gets it DONE on all sides; songs, chops, stage presence, performance, and all delivered with the exact same pile of people/crap they made the records with.
Honorable mention for "Johnny Winter And", the Rick derringer years line-up. At the time, those 4 cats played one of the largest single band concerts in history, and just blew it the expletive deleted up. The live album that resulted is a must-own for any roots/blues/rock n roll fan, and on a million "desert island" disc lists.

+ 1 for Tower of Power... Never seen a bad show yet. I've seen the Stones, the Who, Clapton and even Prince. All were great. But there is just something about Rocco and all those horns.... they just never fail to get the entire crowd up and on their feet. Incredible.
On another note ... Pat Travers Band circa 1978 was one hell of a good show -- and UFO "Strangers in the Night" is one of the best live albums ever. So there you go.

+1 to the UFO album, and I saw Pat around that time and was very impressed by the musicianship of the band (Pat Thrall, Tommy Aldridge, and Mars Cowling). Too bad he had to let his ego run away with him and get strung out on coke.
