Who has found 'the one'

My "One" turns out to be a Skyline 44-64, black on black, which I bought new from Bass Central for a Black Sabbath Tribute. The tonal power combined with the playing comfort makes this my go-to bass. My new Carvin PB5 though, is a close second

My '78 P Bass! "The One" is the one that you always think about no matter how long its been or who your with... she will age and only become more attractive, she is the one that you want to grow old with. I can play my other basses for a few months and when I pick the P Bass back up I will always fall instantly in love all over again! She was shiny when I found her, now she's got years of scars and stories that only make her more attractive.

The feel, the tone, the smell, even the beat-up finish from the last 12 years that I have been with her.

This has been my number 1 since buying it from Roger in 2007. It's my first bass out of 20 basses that doesn't get in the way of playing music. It's an extension of the music within me. I stopped looking seven years ago. This one till the end.

My (real) 1956 P-bass. This is it for me. Feels perfect, sounds timeless, rocks like sledgehammer and swings like no other. Surprisingly light and cuts through in such a powerful way. Leo got it right from the start.

My '73 Rick 4001 - "home bass"! I have 5 other basses, including another Ric, but this one I would never sell (bought it in '90 and my feelings about haven't changed). It doesn't stop me looking and occasionally GASsing, but they always just confirm that this is the ONE!

When trying to come up with the different things I like about several basses, I decided to have this one made by Drake Custom Bass.
Mostly mahogany body, Jatoba neck, TV Jones Thunder Blade pickups. Has my favorite kind of midrange. Kinda barks and growls a bit without being too bright. Just can't stop playing this bass!

Too soon to say on this one, but my Dingwall Super P is currently blowing my mind. I've always had a Fender P laying around since I started playing bass in the late 70's, but this thing is just fantastic

I don’t know if I would go as far as saying my Dingwall ABZ5 is the one, but I will say no other bass I’ve had so far has encouraged me to play better. The Dingwall is developing better technique out of me. That’s making me one happy camper.

The one is my fiancé but I am also a one bass kind of guy I have a fender j fretless however. My go to main is an ibanez sr505pb poplar burl top and have no need for another.

It's got 3 band eq, bart active pick ups, mahogany body, bubinga neck, rose wood fret board and a mid range switch.

All my favorite components and woods nice and versatile.

My 2010 Precision V. On so many levels it just works. Fits in with every style of music I play. Feels good in my hands, has that tone. With either DR Sunbeams or Low Rider Nickel strings. Everything else (besides PG) is stock.
