Is that setup less than 4 ohms?

It used McIntosh 2300s which have half ohm taps on the output transformers, going up to 16 ohms. I'm not sure exactly how it was wired, but chances are each cab was 8 ohms and they were set up with a bridged amp for each group of 8 cabs, which if, in parallel, would be a 1 ohm load for each group of 8 speakers (I'm assuming this because there were two stacks of 15s which could be run with half of each stack running each string separately.).

This thread is entertaining. Some of these rigs are crazy. And to think... I thought I was cool in the 90's with my Carvin stack with 4x10 and 1x18.

Not crazy huge, but sounds great. 3 K140s. About 1,000 watts. I've got two more cabs with K140s that I've wanted to add, but never had a gig where it was needed as at that point, I'm competing with the PA.View attachment 3986680
