Who is getting an Expressionator?

and yeah, it's digital, so it can add some noise if it's daisy chained, mine only seems to if i have another digital pedal chained with it. do you get noise if it's on it's own power source?

Hey Guys - regarding pedals with knobs on the side (Roland EV-5, Moog EP-2) make sure you have them at 100% sweep before going into Expressionator. Mr. Pickles - I replied to your email. Are you getting all 5 lights when you are toe down? That would be a visual way to see if you are getting full range. With full range set on the EV-5, you can let Expressionator handle each channel individual in regards to span.

And yes, Expressionator does need its own isolated tap. It has it's own ground and possibly 3 others feeding through it.

Good to know about needing isolated power. I am fairly certain that I need to redo the power scheme for my whole board anyway...

I am getting all lights lit. 'Gonna mess around with it now.

I'm kind of surprised that I haven't seen this thread yet in my GAS for an expressionator! Anyway, I have had some custom length right angle TRS cables made from Invalid Link Removed but they are not cheap by any means. It seems there is a lack of higher quality right angled TRS cables on the market... I think Dan from T1M was making them at a reasonable rate for a while but didn't get back to me last time I e-mailed him.

Either way I'm looking forward to running my HOG, Orbit, and Xero through it. Does anyone have any feedback on running a HOG through the expressionator? I am currently using a mission sp-1r to control it, and plan on using it with the expressionator as well.

Josh was an acquaintance of mine when I lived in LA around 2000. We jammed a few times and supported each other's bands. Some of the Chili Peppers used to go to his gigs and I got to rub shoulders with them. I was starstruck! Ha ha. I'm happy for all of his success:bassist:

Hey Guys - I should have posted something sooner, but we have licensed Expressionator to Mission Engineering (Invalid Link Removed the expression pedal guys).

They will be building, selling and getting the pedal out to distributors (both in the US and International) so it's a good thing all around. The look will change a little bit, but all the features will stay the same (plus there will be a cable available for compatibility with Line 6 pedals). They are also aiming to lower the price a little bit too.

Personally, I've had a blast designing the pedal and working with you guys to get the specs figured out. I'm a musician, and our intent (me and Darius, the engineer) was not to become a pedal company - so it's good to get Expressionator to pros that can build and support it right. So I want to thank all of you for your interest in it and hope for those of you who didn't get in on the first couple of batches, that you take a look at the "official" release.

I've got ideas for Pedal #3 - so you probably haven't seen the last of me! ;)

BTW, if any of you that bought one of the originals, has issues or questions just email me and I'll be more than happy to help out.

That's bloody awesome news...congrats on that! I'm loving my "original". I honestly wouldn't understand if more effects junkies didn't look into this tremendously useful little box.

*I'll probably add a second, Mission unit upon their release, too.*
