Who is this Flea guy ?

Flea is kool. He got skillz. Reminds me of a crazy, pyscho playing Cecil Taylor.. without quite the controlled attack.

flea. what can i say. not quite the best, but is worthy of being in that catagory. the best bassist ever is jaco pastorious, but les claypool is right up there.

Despite being a major fan of the Chili Pepper's earlier music, I must say I really enjoy Californication. Flea's grooves are TIGHT. They fit, they are melodically and musically appropriate, and they sound good. In many of the songs the guitar and bass work in counterpoint to make some very interesting music.
