Who is using a Barefaced Two 10S? Looking for a cab for smaller spaces...

I'm a big fan of Epifani cabs. I just downsized from my Epi UL-410 to a UL3-210. For larger venues, I pair it with a 112.

As I often do, throwing another good word in for revsound. Called David (the builder) thinking I wanted one of his vertical 2x8 cabs. After talking for awhile about my tone and what gigs I do he suggested a 112. It’s been a perfect 1 cab solution for me, any time I play a big hall it’s backlined so I don’t need it super loud (tho this cab will do it) but I do play 5 string and upright thru it and it’s never complained.

Tell you what, I have a band practice later with my obnoxiously loud band and will have my Glock and Two10 rig with me. I’ll try get a little recording to show you how punchy and good it sounds (to my ears at least). You’ll have to forgive my playing of course…

Didn’t achieve this I’m afraid. Well, I did but nothing I want to share
We were all totally off our game last night, so between us there wasn’t a clean take all night long. Well, nothing I’m prepared to present to the worldwide public, sorry
Will get something from Friday’s rehearsal (different band) or Saturday’s gig :)

I guess my biggest question - is it punchy? That's the element that I find missing from so many cabs. Lots of bass cabs sound glorious on their own, then you get them to the gig... they are plenty loud enough but you can't get that punch.
I recently acquired a recent generation Two10. It is great. I've used it in small rooms, once with a '67 Showman head (amazing) and once with a Milkman Half & Half 700. I used it twice in the last week in a medium sized bar with the Milkman, and it kicked ass. Today I used it with the Milkman at an outdoor gig with no PA support for the instruments, and it was great. Could be heard well 100 feet away. The Milkman head is a lot like a Bassman with class D power. Very punchy with clear definition from top to bottom. The cab handles it very well. A One10 just popped up on CL locally and I'm going to grab that one!

A seller lent me his Two10 cab for several weeks to try it and decide whether I want it. I wanted to try whether the cab is loud enough for my purposes.

I brought the cab to a rehearsal this weekend. The drummer complained that the cab is too loud and messes with the small device which helps his heart work properly (he had a heart surgery).

I think I will keep the cab... ;)
